GENERAL SCOPE
Both grades developed from the standard 13Cr and
420 Modified grades offer enhanced mechanical properties and corrosion resistance. The low
carbon content gives a martensitic/ferritic microstructure, and eases welding problems.
Available in bar and tube form, its main application is in
environments containing CO2, chlorides and low concentrations of H2S.
These grades are used predominately in the manufacture of oil patch completion equipment.
