GENERAL SCOPE
UNS S45000 is a precipitation hardening
martensitic stainless steel containing a small addition of Copper. Though only the H1150
condition is approved by NACE MR0175 for resistance to Sulphide Stress Cracking in H2S
environments, several other heat treatment conditions can be supplied that can increase
the 0.2% PS to 170 KSI minimum.
