General scope

Alloy 600 is a solid solution strengthened alloy used for corrosion and high temperature resistance up to 2000°F. It is also non-magnetic, possessing an excellent combination of high strength, both hot and cold workability and resistance to stress-corrosion cracking, atmospheric corrosion, corrosion by high purity water, halogens, exhaust gases and most organic acids and inorganic acids.

Applications are used in the aerospace, heat treating industries, pulp and paper as well as the chemical process, food process and nuclear industries.
